From an early age, I was drawn to storytelling in all its forms, poems, sketches and scripts, and to the endless possibilities of a blank page. In recent years, I’ve developed my craft through fiction and scriptwriting courses with Life In Story, where the idea for Too Young To Live began to take shape.
The concept first came to me in a dream, a simple question: what if we could reverse our biological clock? Wise in the mind, young in the body. From there, Margaret and Nigel emerged, inspired by people I’ve known and encountered throughout my life. They are flawed, full of regrets, and deeply human, which is what draws me to them and to this story.
Alongside developing Too Young To Live, I wrote, directed and produced my own short film A 115 Times Yes!, which was short-listed for the YARNS competition in 2025. Seeing a project through was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had so far.
